A child suffering from school phobia fears specific situations: entering class, being questioned, taking an exam or speaking in front of the group. Reproducing these situations in consultation is not always easy, since they depend on the school, classmates or the context of the day.
The practitioner cannot always access a real classroom, nor control the presence of other students or the difficulty of an exam. The progression of the exposure is therefore difficult to control in a natural setting.
Virtual reality makes it possible to recreate these school contexts directly in the office, in a controlled and reproducible environment, without depending on the school or third parties.
